Authorization <br />Presenter: Melanie Curtis Agenda Consent Agenda <br />Planner Section: <br />1. Purpose. Council to authorize the Mayor to sign a registered land survey (R.L.S.) resulting from <br />a subdivision exception for a lot line adjustment. <br />2. MN§15.99 Application Deadline. N/A. <br />Background. The Honours applied for a subdivision exception in July to relocate the common <br />property line between 1720 and 1725 Bohns Point Road; both properties are owned by the <br />Honours. The subdivision exception was certified on July 7, 2017 by the Community <br />Development Director in accordance with city ordinances and procedures. In order to record the <br />boundary line adjustment, Hennepin County requires a R.L.S. be filed. The applicant has <br />prepared the R.L.S. for recording; the mylar requires the Mayor's signature. <br />The R.L.S is a document that clarifies the lot boundaries and dimensions for future use. No new <br />lot is created. <br />4. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends the Council authorize the Mayor to sign the R.L.S.. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to authorize the Mayor to sign the R.L.S. mylar for recording. <br />Exhibits <br />Exhibit A.
