Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain Council approval for the 2017 Streets <br />Maintenance Crack Sealing project. <br />2. Background. Crack sealing is a routine preventive road maintenance process. <br />3. Project Scope. The identified streets shall have their cracks and routed, cleaned and sealed. Spot <br />sealing will be required on areas with a concentration of small cracks. (See Exhibit A) <br />4. Cost. Public Works received quotes from 2 contractors for crack sealing. A summary of the quotes <br />received is in the table below. Staff Recommendation.
