We consider the <br />bay our "backyard" and part of the responsibility we assumed when we purchased our <br />property. As traffic on the lake has increased over the years, we have always felt it is <br />important to invest in the care of our bay to keep it inviting for swimming, boating and <br />playing. We have donated more than the requested amount each year to try to achieve that, <br />even though many residents do not participate at any level. <br />The quality of the water should be of concern to all homeowners along the shore because it <br />affects everyone's property values. We whole-heartedly support the establishment of the <br />CBLID so that all parties invested in the value of the bay will participate in its maintenance <br />equitably through taxes.
