Our experience has been nothing but <br />positive since the creation of St. Alban's Bay Lake Improvement District (SABLID) — the first on Lake <br />Minnetonka — in February 2015. <br />Normally our city council would not be supportive of creating a new taxing authority, but our council <br />unanimously saw the wisdom in the establishment of the SABLID because it is a taxing entity that is <br />locally controlled for the specific purpose of providing baywide management of aquatic invasive <br />species.
