MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, July 10, 2017 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT - Continued <br />Seals reported the committee has arrived at two final candidates for the website redesign and that a <br />recommendation will be brought to the next City Council work session. Seals stated redesign of the <br />website will make it more user friendly. <br />Walsh commented the Lurton dog park is still going strong and that he has heard lots of very positive <br />comments about the park. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />17. INTERIM FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />Reeder recommended Danielle Amira, accountant, be named as the interim finance director. Reeder <br />stated since the audit was delayed, discussions on the 2018 budget may also be delayed by a couple of <br />weeks. <br />Crosby moved, Dankey seconded, to appoint Danielle Amira as interim finance director effective <br />July 10, 2017, and continuing until the return of the finance director. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Assistant City Attorney Poehler stated she had nothing to report. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Printup moved, Crosby seconded, to adjourn the Orono City Council meeting at 9:42 p.m. VOTE: <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />ATTEST <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />Page 14 of 14 <br />
