Memo <br />To: Doug Reeder, City Administrator <br />From: Correy Farniok, Police Chief <br />CC: Mayor Dennis Walsh <br />Date: July 6, 2017 <br />Re: Swearing-in Ceremony <br />In the past year, the Police Department has hired several police officers. These officers include <br />Kyle Kirschner, William Carstens and Brian Beniek. Kirschner was hired as a Full -Time officer <br />and Carstens and Beniek were hired as part-time officers. All have completed the field training <br />program and their one year probationary period. Carstens has been promoted to a full-time officer <br />as the position became available. Beniek continues to work as a part-time police officer, filling in <br />shifts as needed. <br />At this time I would like to have a formal swearing in process, to include the oath of office for <br />these officers. <br />I would like to recognize and introduce these officers to the Mayor and Council members at the <br />July 24, 2017 Council meeting. <br />
