Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain council authorization to replace the old plotter <br />with a multi -function plotter/scanner/copier. <br />2. Background. The old unit a HP DesignJet 800 is about 15 years old and only has the ability to plot. <br />As the City moves toward paperless records retention the ability to scan large format (surveys and plans) <br />is required. The scanning in of large drawings and plans would also be benefitual for our Laserfiche <br />system to help us to become paperless. <br />3. Project Scope. Procurement of a large format printer/scanner/copier. <br />4. Cost. The City received 3 quotes.
