MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, June 26, 2017 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />21. REPORT ON 2016 AUDIT — Continued <br />personal leave of absence of the finance director, the City requested the state auditor allow some <br />additional time to complete the audit. Reeder stated that request has been approved and the City now has <br />until the end of August to complete the audit. <br />Walsh noted the City Council has to approve the Abdo, Eick & Meyers contract to complete the City's <br />audit. <br />Printup asked if the audit extension will have any adverse impacts on the City. <br />Reeder stated it will not, given the circumstances. Staff is very confident that the budget and the audit <br />will be completed in the coming months. <br />Crosby moved, Printup seconded, to approve the agreement with Abdo, Eick & Meyers to complete <br />the City's audit subject to review and comments by the City Attorney.
