Edwards Agenda Consent Agenda <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Section: <br />1. Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain council approval for award of the rehabilitation of <br />the trail that runs along the west side of Willow Drive. <br />2. Background. The rehabilitation of the Willow Drive trail is part of the City Pavement Management <br />plan and is listed for 2017 in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). In December of 2016 the council <br />approved Bolton and Menk proposal to conduct surveying and engineering from the project. <br />3. Scope of Work. This project will rehabilitate the 3000 ft of bituminous trail that runs along Willow <br />Drive North. Rehabilitation will include a combination of patching, replacing, and sealing the pavement. <br />4. Cost. Eleven contractors were solicited with two providing quotes. (Exhibit A) The low quote for the <br />pavement rehabilitation was from Omann Bros. for $43,492. In addition to the construction cost, Bolton <br />and Menk provided an estimate for construction oversight.
