Scope of Services Public Coordination/Communications Bolton & Menk is committed to supporting the coordination requirements of this project with qualified staff and will proactively engage affected property owners and the general public with timely and accurate information via newsletters and website updates as desired by the City. Construction Staking and Observation Construction staking will be provided along with full time construction observation. Duties of the Construction Observer will include the following: • Attendance at the pre -construction meeting and all construction -related meetings • Serve as a liaison between the City and the contractor • Review of the completed work to determine if the project is in general conformance with the plans and specifications • Review of all materials testing • Maintenance of construction documentation Communication with affected property owners, as necessary, to address their construction -related concerns and issues Construction Administration Construction administration duties will include the following: • Administering a pre -construction meeting • Review of shop drawings • Preparation of pay estimates • Contractor Communications • Liaison with City Staff and Council Record drawings detailing the completed improvements as recorded by the construction observer and the City of Orono's contractor will be completed and furnished to the City in hard copy and electronic format. Record plans will also be linked to the City mapping system.
