MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Monday, May 22, 2017 <br />6:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Walsh, Council Members Richard Crosby II, Wendy Dankey, Aaron <br />Printup. <br />Representing Staff were Interim City Administrator Doug Reeder, and Police Chief Correy <br />Farniok. <br />Mayor Walsh called the work session to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />1. Mark Kroll — LMCD Candidate <br />The City Council interviewed Mark Kroll for possible appointment as Orono's Lake Minnetonka <br />Conservation District Board Representative. <br />2. Minutes Discussion <br />The City Council discussed the idea of shortening the City Council Minutes by not including a <br />verbatim Staff reports since they are already available in the agenda packet. After discussion, the <br />City Council concurred with staff recommendation, that the City Council Minutes not include <br />verbatim of its Staff report while it appears in the agenda packet. <br />3. Security — Correy Farnio <br />Police Chief Farniok discussed with the City Council security measures which should be taken at <br />City Hall. <br />4. Carman Bay Lake Improvement District addition for Re2ular Meetini! <br />Interim City Administrator Doug Reeder informed the City Council that he would like to add an <br />item to the Regular City Council agenda, to set a public hearing for the establishment of the <br />Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br />Ad oumed at 6:45 p.m. <br />i <br />ATTEST: <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
