MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday March 13,2017 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />The Orono City Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Dennis Walsh, Council Members Richard Crosby, 11, Wendy Dankey, Aaron Printup, and Victoria Seals. <br />Representing Staff were City Administrator Doug Reeder, Community Development Director Jeremy <br />Barnhart, Finance Director Ron Olson, Public Works Director/City Engineer Adam Edwards, Senior <br />Planner Michael Gaffron, City Planner Melanie Curtis, City Attorney Soren Mattick, Consulting City <br />Engineer David Martini, and Recorder Jackie Young. <br />Mayor Walsh called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />1. CONSENT AGENDA <br />Item Nos. 5, 9, 19, 20, and 21 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Printup moved, Seals seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 27,2017 <br />Printup moved, Seals seconded, to approve the minutes of the Orono City Council meeting of <br />February 27, 2017, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />None <br />PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER REPORT <br />4. FOX STREET REHABILITATION — APPROVAL TO SOLICIT BIDS <br />Consulting City Engineer Martini noted the City has been discussing improvement of Fox Street for a <br />number of years. In August of last year, a feasibility study was prepared for Fox Street consisting of an <br />analysis of the existing conditions, topographic surveying of the project area, and development of possible <br />courses of action to repair, replace, and improve the street. In September of 2016, the City Council <br />decided to move forward with the design for the section of pavement between Old Crystal Bay Road and <br />Brown Road. <br />Page I of 32 <br />
