Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain Council approval of the attached 2017 Fee <br />Schedule for consultant engineering services from Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />2. Background. Bolton & Menk has proposed the attached fee schedule for 2017 engineering <br />services. The contract with Bolton and Menk requires the notification and approval of changes to the <br />fee schedule. Bolton and Menk has been the City's consulting engineering firm since 2012. <br />3. Analysis. With the exception of project surveying, the fee schedule did not see an increase. The <br />discount rates for general city engineering services remain unchanged. The rates for the four <br />engineers most commonly assigned to Orono Project will increase an average of 3.5%. This will not <br />likely impact routine engineering support but may increase costs for project engineering and <br />development reviews. <br />4. Recommendation. Council approve the rate schedule. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the attached consultant engineering services fee schedule. <br />
