Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to appoint Andrea Hentges to the position of <br />Municipal Services Support Representative (MSSR) with a starting date of 07/23/18. <br />2. Background. The selection process for the MSSR position has been completed. A total of <br />15 applications were received. After an initial review of the applications, four applicants were <br />selected to be interviewed. These interviews were conducted by the City Administrator, City <br />Clerk and Community Development Director. <br />The top candidate for the position is Andrea Hentges. Andrea has a Bachelor's of Science in <br />Business Management from Rasmussen College. Andrea is coming to the City from Gerhardson, <br />Warner & Wehmhoff CPAs. Her duties include customer service, administrative assistance, <br />accounts receivables, payroll, bank reconciliations, reviewing financial statements, and <br />coordinating daily schedules of firm clients. Andrea will be an excellent addition to our staff. <br />3. Cost. Starting compensation for Andrea will be $46,991.64. This is a full time position and <br />is eligible for full city benefits including enrollment in the Coordinated Plan of the Public <br />Employees Retirement Association (PERA). <br />4. Funding. Funding for this position is included in the 2018 Planning & Zoning budget. <br />5. Staff Recommendation.
