CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING <br />THE ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD <br />FOR THE 2018 PRIMARY ELECTION <br />TO BE HELD AUGUST 14, 2018 <br />WHEREAS, the City Hall serves as an absentee ballot center for the residents of Orono; and <br />WHEREAS, State Statute Section 203B.121 provides that an Absentee Ballot Board must be <br />appointed by the City Council to process absentee ballots. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono City Council that the individuals <br />named on Exhibit A be appointed as the City of Orono Absentee Ballot Board Election Judges for the <br />August 14, 2018 Primary Election; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: <br />A. The Absentee Ballot Board will meet with at least two election judges of different <br />political parties at various times as designated by the City Clerk. <br />B. Absentee Ballot Board members shall be compensated at the same rate as an Election <br />Judge at $10.00 per hour or a Head Election Judge at $10.50 per hour for their services. <br />C. The City Clerk is, with this resolution, authorized to make any substitutions or additions <br />to the Absentee Ballot Board as deemed necessary; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Orono City Council also appoints other individuals and all <br />members appointed to the Hennepin County Absentee Ballot Board as authorized under Minn.
