Council <br />LA18-000042 <br />Exhibit B <br />SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO. , THIRD SERIES <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORONO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />REGARDING THE DISTANCE FOR NOTIFICATION FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on June 11, 2018, Ordinance No. , Third Series, <br />was adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. <br />Third Series, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the Council amends <br />Chapter 78 and 82 of the Orono City Code regarding the distance for notification for public <br />hearings. This ordinance amends the Orono Code by removing duplicate statements regarding <br />public hearing notices and adds a section which describes a public hearing which is referenced <br />throughout the ordinance. The ordinance amends the distance for mailing notifications from 350 <br />feet to 500 feet. <br />The complete ordinance is available for inspection by any person during the City's regular <br />office hours. <br />APPROVED for publication by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota, this 11 <br />day of June, 2018. <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br />Summary Ordinance published in The Laker and The Pioneer newspapers the week of <br />2018. <br />
