CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION REASSIGNING RESPONSIBLITIES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council previously deemed it necessary to appoint a Big Island Steering <br />Committee to guide the development of the Big Island Master Plan, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the Big Island Master Plan on April 23, 2018, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono Park Commission provides guidance and recommendations to the <br />City Council for all city parks, open space and recreation areas, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota <br />that the City Council is reassigning the responsibilities for implementing the Big Island Master Plan to the <br />Park Commission, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council is hereby dissolving the Big Island Steering <br />Committee, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby appointing Victoria Seals as the Big <br />Island Liaison to the Park Commission. <br />THIS RESOLUTION IS HEREBY, adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota, <br />at a regular meeting held May 14, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br />Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
