Rief Agenda City Administrator's <br />Section: Report <br />1. Purpose. The purpose of this action is to show support for legislative reform of the Metropolitan <br />Council <br />2. Background. On March 20, 2018 the Council discussed a previously proposed action regarding the <br />overreach of the Metropolitan Council originally discussed August 22, 2016. Council directed staff to <br />present a resolution of support for reform to bring to the next city council. The attached resolution <br />supporting principles for reform of the Metropolitan Council. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve the Resolution Supporting Principles for Reform of the Metropolitan Council. <br />Exhibits <br />Exhibit A.
