Purpose. This application is requesting a variance for lot area and lot width in the RR -1B zoning <br />district. <br />2. 15.99 Deadline. A complete application was submitted February 2, 2018. This application will <br />expire April 3rd, 2018. <br />3. Background/ Summary. The applicant is requesting a lot area and lot width variance to construct a <br />single family home on a non -conforming lot of record. Non -conforming lots of record may be improved, <br />but are limited to 25% hardcover. Based on the distance from the lake and located in Stormwater Quality <br />Tier 3 this lot, if conforming, would be permitted 35% hardcover. The lot was part of a plat that was <br />recorded in 1887 before the RR -1B zoning district was implemented. <br />4. Planning Commission Vote. On February 12, 2018 the Planning Commission opened a public <br />hearing and reviewed the application. The Commission voted unanimously on a motion to approve the <br />variance request. <br />5. Public Comment. No public comment was received. <br />6. Staff Recommendation.
