AGENDA ITEM <br />Item No. 9 Date: January 8, 2018 <br />Item Description: Wayzata Blvd (CSAH 112) Phase Two Luce Line Trail <br />Connection Cooperative Agreement <br />Presenter: Adam T. Edwards Agenda Consent Agenda <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Section: <br />1. Purpose. The purpose of this item is to gain City Council approve the Cooperative <br />Agreement with the State of Minnesota for the connection of the CSAH 1121 Trail extension to <br />the Luce Line Trail. <br />2. Background. Phase Two of the CSAH 112 Project includes a trail extension from the <br />intersection with Old Long Lake Road to the Luce Line trial along the northern side of CSAH <br />112. The State of Minnesota requires a cooperative agreement for the connection of the trails. <br />3. Agreement Scope. The agreement lays out the responsibilities with respect to the trail <br />connection. <br />4. Cost. There are no direct costs for per the agreement. The city does agree to maintain the <br />trail connection. <br />5. Funding. Funding for Trail maintenance will be incorporated into Parks Operating Budget. <br />6. Review. The attached agreement has been reviewed by the City Administrator, Engineer and <br />Attorney. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Move to approve the Cooperative Agreement. <br />Exhibit <br />A.
