AGENDA ITEM <br />Item No. 4 Date: January 8, 2018 <br />Item Description: Annual Appointments <br />Presenter: Dustin Rief, City Administrator Agenda Consent Agenda <br />Section: <br />Purpose. Each year the Council adopts a resolution that sets the annual appointments. The <br />attached draft resolution is provided for your consideration. <br />In addition, in 2016 the city approved the attached resolution adopting a Request for Proposal <br />(RFP) schedule. It states that when a specific professional service comes due under the schedule, <br />that service will be reviewed by the City Council at appointment time each January. During the <br />review process, the City Council will decide whether or not the professional service will be <br />subject to an RFP process. This year the schedule suggests the Insurance Agent and Fiscal <br />Agent should be advertised for RFP's. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Consider a motion to amend or adopt the attached resolution designating selected appointments <br />for 2018, provide direction on whether an RFP for Insurance Agent and Fiscal Agent should be <br />advertised. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
