Purpose. Consider approval of professional service agreement for 1795 Fox and 2300 Fox for <br />Septic System inspection. <br />2. Background/ Summary. City and State regulations allow the construction of Type IV septic <br />systems in certain situations. The review and inspection of these systems require specific technical <br />knowledge, training, and a state license. No one among staff has the license. <br />Two projects on Fox street propose a Type IV system. Staff has identified a contractor, Soil Investigation <br />& Design, Inc. who can assist us with the review and inspection of these systems. All costs incurred <br />during the review will be billed to the property owner. <br />3. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends approval of the Professional Services Agreement for <br />2300 and 1795 Fox Street as outlined in the attachment. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Authorize the City Administrator to sign the Professional Services Agreement as attached. <br />Exhibits <br />Exhibit A.
