Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain approval for a resolution to designate <br />polling place locations for the 2019 Elections. <br />2. Background. Cities are now required to designate polling places by December 31 of <br />each year, even if nothing has changed. Also, this is the case in spite of 204B.11, Subd. 3. <br />Essentially, polling place designations are effective until changed, but they also must be <br />designated by December 31 of every year. <br />3. Staff Recommendation.
