These pipes were installed in the 1960's. Over the years the city has had <br />issues with cast iron pipe deterioration based. The most cost effective time to replace the pipe is when <br />the road is under construction. <br />349,855$ Sanitary Sewer Fund <br />Water Fund <br />19-022 Water 2019 Hydrant Flushing This project includes the annual flushing of the city water mains, testing and inspection of hydrants. 8,000$ Water Operating <br />Budget <br />19-023 Water Water Plant Painting Paint interior of the north and south water plants.99,000$ Water Fund <br />19-024 Water Well #3 Screen installation This project includes the installation of a sand screen for Well #3’s. To ensure a continued, dependable <br />supply of quality water from the City’s well periodic maintenance is required. Addition of a screen will <br />allow the well to operate at its full capacity. It is currently limited due to the sand formation the well sits <br />in. at high volume the well pulls in sand. <br />92,000$ Water Fund <br />19-025 Water Water Valve Exercising and <br />inspection and replacement. <br />Exercise and inspect all of the water valves in maintenance district 1. Replace any defective valves 24,000$ Water Fund <br />19-026 Water Water meter Replacement This project begins the process of changing out the city's water meters. The total project is planned over a <br />5 year period. This is year 4 of 5.10,000$ Stormwater Fund <br />19-028 Storm Water OCB Pipe Upsizing (Countryside <br />south) <br />Upsize storm pipe or convert to open channel the pipe that runs parallel to OCB from Watertown Road <br />South. <br />88,500$ Stormwater Fund <br />19-029 Storm Water Storm Water Improvements-2019 This project includes miscellaneous storm water repairs and improvements include culvert replacements, <br />curb and gutter Improvements and drainage way improvements; small but critical storm water issues. <br />200,000$ Stormwater Fund <br />19-030 Storm Water Annual Storm Water Inspections and <br />Maintenance- Dist1 <br />Each year the City inspects and cleans 1/5 of the storm sewer system. The focus area for 2019 is District 1. <br />The inspections then drive future repair activities for the city. <br />8,000$ Stormwater <br />Operating Budget
