5 Water Stormwater Project Number Department Description Description/ Scope Operating Budget CIP Amount Funding source 19-021 Water Water main & force main replacement under CSAH 15 at 19 This project includes the replacement the water main and force main that run under the County's CSAH 15- 19 Intersection project area. These pipes were installed in the 1960's. Over the years the city has had issues with cast iron pipe deterioration based. The most cost effective time to replace the pipe is when the road is under construction. 349,855$ Sanitary Sewer Fund Water Fund 19-022 Water 2019 Hydrant Flushing This project includes the annual flushing of the city water mains, testing and inspection of hydrants. 8,000$ Water Operating Budget 19-023 Water Water Plant Painting Paint interior of the north and south water plants.99,000$ Water Fund 19-024 Water Well #3 Screen installation This project includes the installation of a sand screen for Well #3’s. To ensure a continued, dependable supply of quality water from the City’s well periodic maintenance is required. Addition of a screen will allow the well to operate at its full capacity. It is currently limited due to the sand formation the well sits in. at high volume the well pulls in sand. 92,000$ Water Fund 19-025 Water Water Valve Exercising and inspection and replacement. Exercise and inspect all of the water valves in maintenance district 1. Replace any defective valves 24,000$ Water Fund 19-026 Water Water meter Replacement This project begins the process of changing out the city's water meters. The total project is planned over a 5 year period. This is year 4 of 5.10,000$ Stormwater Fund 19-028 Storm Water OCB Pipe Upsizing (Countryside south) Upsize storm pipe or convert to open channel the pipe that runs parallel to OCB from Watertown Road South. 88,500$ Stormwater Fund 19-029 Storm Water Storm Water Improvements-2019 This project includes miscellaneous storm water repairs and improvements include culvert replacements, curb and gutter Improvements and drainage way improvements; small but critical storm water issues. 200,000$ Stormwater Fund 19-030 Storm Water Annual Storm Water Inspections and Maintenance- Dist1 Each year the City inspects and cleans 1/5 of the storm sewer system. The focus area for 2019 is District 1. The inspections then drive future repair activities for the city. 8,000$ Stormwater Operating Budget
