For the period 2021-2030, Met Council established an allocation <br />of 154 affordable units for the City of Orono. See also Table 3C-7. <br /> <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF EXISTING HOUSING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />The following sections provide a brief summary of the housing types, occupancy tenure, structural <br />condition and price range of housing in Orono. <br /> <br />Housing Types <br />The predominant housing type in Orono is single-family detached dwellings. This is true of both <br />the urban and the rural areas of the City.
