From:Roger Peitso <br />To:Melanie Curtis <br />Subject:RE: Grading Review - LA19-000011 / 3349 Crystal Bay Rd <br />Date:Tuesday, March 12, 2019 9:35:30 AM <br />Melanie, <br />I have completed a review of the documents provided and these are my comments: <br />1.No portion of the structure can be built across the property line. This would include, roof, <br />gutters, eaves, overhangs, footings, foundation, foundation drainage system, walls, <br />cantilever’s of any sort, siding or any architectural features or building systems used in <br />construction. <br />2.With the type of construction systems shown in the proposed plans the footings shall be a <br />minimum 1 foot from the property line because of the drainage system that is required per <br />Code section R405 of the 2015 Minnesota Residential Building Code around the exterior of <br />the foundation at the bottom level of the footings. <br />3.Per item #2. The result would be the walls of the structure would be at least 1.5 feet from <br />the property line if constructed as shown. <br />4.No excavation across the property line can be conducted without express written permission <br />of the Railroad Authority. <br />Thanks, <br />Roger <br />From: Melanie Curtis  <br />Sent: Wednesday, March 06, 2019 3:18 PM <br />To: Roger Peitso <rpeitso@ci.orono.mn.us> <br />Subject: FW: Grading Review - LA19-000011 / 3349 Crystal Bay Rd <br />At your earliest convenience, please provide written comments to me on this project (see attached).
