CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. ________________________ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />BRUCE LEMKE <br />FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE <br />AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bruce Lemke has served this community with distinction as a <br />member of the Planning Commission since his appointment as a regular member <br />on May 29, 2012; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, his 7 years of service have been marked by exemplary <br />dedication to the best interests of the community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, he has earned the respect, admiration and high regard of those <br />with whom he has worked; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the performance of his duties and responsibilities as a member <br />of the Planning Commission has been characterized by thoughtful input, humor, <br />common sense, compassion, and constructive contributions to the community. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Bruce Lemke for his <br />distinguished service to the community and does also highly commend him for the <br />manner in which he has carried out his duties and responsibilities. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council extends to Bruce <br />their best wishes for continued success in his future endeavors. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br />this 8th day of April, 2019. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ _________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor
