The applicant plans <br />to rebuild the existing decks on the street side and lake side of the home in the same footprint. <br />Minor changes to the lakeside deck to rotate the staircase and to raise the deck floor 22 inches <br />(to meet the door threshold) are proposed. A small portion of the street side deck is <br />within the setback. The decks are proposed to rebuilt in the same <br />footprints with a stair orientation change and a 22” elevation increase <br />on the lakeside deck. <br /> <br /> <br />Application Summary: The applicant is requesting average lakeshore setback variances in <br />order to rebuild existing decks in kind footprints (minor changes to the lakeside deck). <br />Staff Recommendation: Planning Department Staff recommends approval.
