This application is regarding an IUP to export fill material; and a guest house CUP. <br /> <br />2. MN§15.99 Application Deadline. The application was received on March 6, 2019 and <br />considered to be complete on March 15th. Therefore the 60-Day review period expires on May <br />14th. <br /> <br />3. Background/ Summary. The applicant is requesting approval of an interim use permit (IUP) to <br />allow the export of approximately 9,500 cubic yards of material from the property; as well as <br />disturbance of approximately 5,800 cubic yards of material within the 75-foot setback to facilitate <br />the construction of a new residence on the property. Additionally, they seek approval of a guest <br />house conditional use permit (CUP) to allow a new guest house use. <br /> <br />4. Planning Commission Vote and Comment. On April 15th the Planning Commission held a <br />public hearing. Following the public hearing the Planning Commission voted 7 to 0 in favor of a <br />motion to approve the requested CUP and IUP. <br /> <br />5. Public Comment. No comments from the public were received on this request. <br /> <br />6. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends approval. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt or amend the approval resolution.
