GENERAL REQUIREMEN'T'S <br /> 4.1 The membrane shall be composed of PVC, suitable pls$dcizM. stabilisers, fillets, pigments and ultraviolet light <br /> absorbers where required. The membrane shalt be resistant to mildew and bacterial attack. <br /> 4.2 The membrane shall be uniform in colour and appearance, free from gds, streaks, particles of foreign matter or <br /> undispersed raw material,and free from defects such as pinholes, tears,cracks or blisters.The edges shall be of <br /> nicks and cuts. <br /> 4.3 The membrane shall be capable of being seamed by a joining process, such as solvent welding, hot-air welding, <br /> dielectric welding or ultrasonic welding. <br /> 4.4 The membrane shall be capable of being adhered with the manufacturer's #pproved adhesives wi out <br /> discolouration or deterioration. <br /> 5. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS <br /> 5.1 When tested in accordance with Section 7, the PVC membrane shall comply with the requirements show in <br /> Table 1. <br /> Note 1; In Table 1, Types 3 and 4 have identicat requirements, and Classes A and 0 have tdenricai requirements.
