The building permit cannot be <br /> issued if setbacks are not met. If the proposed addition can be adjusted to meet the 10' side yard <br /> setback please revise your plans and resubmit. At this time, Building Permit Application #2009- <br /> 00890 is denied. If you are interested in discussing the option of a variance please contact me at your <br /> convenience. <br /> Further, according to our records a new deck was constructed at this address without a permit and is <br /> currently in violation of City Code 86-66. In order to comply with City Code you must apply for an after- <br /> the-fact building permit and pay an after-the-fact permit fee (double fee) for the deck construction. <br /> Please return the enclosed permit application along with two (2) original scaled copies of the certificate <br /> of survey by Monday, January 25th in order to avoid further action by the City.
