Paul Kaster <br /> 2600 Casco Point Road <br /> Property I.D. 20-117-23 24 0043 <br /> Mr, Kaster stated he had �alked to Mr. Hilk before the <br /> meeting and was satisfied with the value placed on his property. <br /> His concern is the rising values in lakeshore properties. <br /> No action. <br /> 6 . Louis R. Smerling <br /> 2683 Casco Point Road <br /> Property I .D. 20-117-23 24 0043 <br /> r4r. Smerlin_q had asked the County to revalue his property. <br /> This is a lakeshore lot 90 feet wide with an old cabin, boat- <br /> house and garage. Mr. Hilk told the Board he had changed <br /> the value to: <br /> Land $92 ,000 Building $3 , 000 = $95 , 000 Total <br /> f rom <br /> Land $93 ,900 Bu�lding $4 , 000 = $97 ,900 Total <br /> Mr. Smerling reminded the Council of the problems he <br /> has with the neighbor, run-off, and the house is on blocks <br /> and is sinking. Smerling stated he had an estimate a couple <br /> of years ago of $9 ,600 to remove the structures, as they are <br /> a detriment to the lot. Therefore he requested the Board <br /> to reduce the value in the same amount. rsayor Van Nest stated <br /> I feel these allowances have been made, my recommendation <br /> is to accept the $95 , 000 value. Butler stated she felt <br /> that compared to other lakeshore properties this is fair and <br /> could even be higher. The Mayor told the Smerlinc�' s they <br /> are welcome to come to the June 29th meeting. <br /> 7. Alvin Plelson <br /> 2445 Dunwoody Avenue <br /> Property I .D. 20-117-23 22 0011 <br /> Mr. Nelson had been at the June llth meeting and wanted <br /> to see what would be done at this meeting. No action. <br /> 8. Dr. Ahmad Nakib <br /> 3393 Crystal Bay Road <br /> Property I .D. 17-117-23 44 0020 <br /> rsr. Hilk presented this request to the Board. Dr. Nakib <br /> had written to the County requesting a revaluation. Mr. Hilk <br /> had revalued the property and had reduced the property to: <br /> $115 , 100 from $125 , 800 <br /> Mr, f�ilk stated that while reviewing this property, it has <br /> been classified as homestead, but Dr. Nakib lives in Red <br />
