City Code Section 78-1577(4)(a) requires that all boats stored on residential <br /> property must be owned by the property owner or a person residing at the property. <br /> This letter will serve as your notification that any boats not registered in your name must be <br /> removed from the property by January 5, 2010. Boats registered in your name must be <br /> operable, less than 30' in length and stored in the driveway, but must be five feet from the <br /> property line and 15' from a neighboring principal structure. <br /> The vehicle displaying collector plates, needs to be stored in accordance with local government ' <br /> zoning and compliance per Minnesota state statute §168.10 Registration; Collector Vehicle. <br /> Subd le. Outdoor storage. This vehicle must be registered to the property owner, stored 50' <br /> from property lines and it must not be visible from neighboring properties and public streets; <br /> vegetative screening is preferred. <br /> Your property will be inspected on or about January 5, 2010 to verify compliance with boat and <br /> vehicle storage regulations. If compliance is not met or a request for an appeal hearing is not <br /> received prior to January 5, 2010, the Collector vehicle will be tagged and towed and the matter <br /> of the watercraft registration will be turned over to the City's prosecuting attorney for <br /> enforcement action. <br /> I have attached the pertinent City Codes for your reference.
