Following are my <br /> comments for City consideration: <br /> 1. The silt fence should be installed and inspected by the City prior to any land disturbing activities. The <br /> Contractor must provide a minimum 24 hour notice prior to inspection. <br /> 2. The grading along the east property line should be revised to better define a swale directing runoff to the <br /> north. Additional spots and drainage arrows may be necessary to ensure runoff is not directed onto the <br /> adjacent property. <br /> 3. A financial security of$2,500 from the Applicant is recommended for erosion control and engineering <br /> oversight. The financial security is intended to provide protection in the event that it becomes necessary for <br /> the City to install or maintain erosion and sediment control within the project area and covers the cost of <br /> vegetation re-establishment if the applicant is unable to follow through with the conditions of approval. <br /> 4. The applicant may be required to obtain Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) approval and <br /> permitting for their Erosion Control rule.
