MINUTES OF THE HOUSING � REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> HELD AUGUST 12, 1991 <br /> ROLL <br /> The Housing & Redevelopment Authority met on the above <br /> noted date with the following members present: Chairman Jabbour, <br /> Members Barbara Peterson, J. Diann Goetten, Edward Callahan, Mary <br /> Butler. Absent was Charles Kelley. City Attorney Tom Barrett <br /> was also present. Representing the City were: Acting City <br /> Administrator John Gerhardson, Building & Zoning Administrator <br /> Jeanne Mabusth, Assistant Planning & Zoning Administrator Michael <br /> Gaffron, Finance Director Tom Kuehn, Engineer Glenn Cook and City <br /> Recorder Teri Naab. Chairman Jabbour called the meeting to order <br /> at 9: 25 p.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler to approve <br /> the minutes of the meeting of the HRA held on July 22, 1991 . <br /> Ayes 5, nays 0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Tom Barrett, City Attorney, reported at the last meeting <br /> the bylaws submitted included a provision allowing the term of <br /> office to continue one month after resignation or termination <br /> from the City Council. He explained that this has turned out to <br /> be difficult to draft. He asked that the terms of office be <br /> coterminous and this will not ever leave all positions open as <br /> elections are staggered. <br /> It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Butler, to approve <br /> the amendment to the bylaws to make the terms of office <br /> coterminous . Ayes 5, nays PJ. <br /> (#2) Approval of Construction Manager <br /> Chairman Jabbour requested a copy of Little Canada 's <br /> contract with Kraus Anderson. He noted he has reviewed the <br /> contract and feels there are amendments which needed to be made. <br /> Callahan reiterated that we also need to get a maximum <br /> dollar amount on reimburseables. <br /> (#3) Contract with Architect <br /> Callahan noted the City has the contract. <br /> (#4) Appoint Attorney <br /> Barrett explained that there are two appointments and <br /> did not feel it was necessary to make those right away. <br /> 1 <br />
