Mc-tion passed. <br />Goetten asked for a progress report regarding the plaques <br />for the City's former elected officials. <br />Mayor Peterson stated that she is in the process of sending <br />letters to Mme. Grabek and Mr. Nettles, asking them to came <br />forward and be recognized by the City. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />( #14 *)JOINT USE DOCK LICENSE <br />3995 NORTH SHORE DRIVE <br />RESOLUTION #2959 <br />At the request of Mayor Peterson, Council agreed to add this <br />item to the Consent -. Agenda. <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />approv:7� a 1991 Joint Use: Dock License for Sandy Beach Shores, <br />subject to the condition that during the current license period, <br />the City reserves the right to require a reduction in the number <br />of licensed slips commensurate with any reductions of habitable <br />dwelling units which may occur during the license year. All <br />voted aye. Motion passed. <br />( #15)STUBBS BAY SEWER <br />Bernhardson re=ported that with respect to the situation <br />involving the Ziesmers, Michael Gaffron has prepared information <br />regarding the use of modified trench system as, an interim <br />solution. The estimated cost of this system would be $2,000, and <br />would be less expensive than pumping over a 1h to 2 year period <br />of time. Bernhardson stated that the second issue involved with <br />this project is the formation of a :citizens committee as <br />suggested by Councilmember Callahan. He added that Mike Gaffron <br />had -met with Dave Peterson, who had discussed this issue with <br />some :.)f the Stubbs Bay residents. He said, "Mr. Peterson has <br />indicated that people are interested in the project, but it is__, <br />obviously an issue of cost: John Burger is also interested in <br />seeing the project proceed and has expressed his willingness to <br />serve and the citizens committee. Staff is recommending that we <br />proceed with the formation of the citizens committee, and we will <br />bring back the membership at the May 13, 1991, meeting. From the <br />information outlined at the April 8, 1991, meeting a draft charge <br />will be prepared indicating what recommendations Council would <br />like to receive from the citizens committee. S::aff.*would also <br />recommend that the citizens committee be given a four to six week <br />time period in which to make their recommendation." He asked <br />Gaffron to elaborate on the issue involving the Ziesmers. <br />Gaffron showed a sketch of the modified trench system he is <br />proposing as`an alternative for the Ziesmers until a <br />
