ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 11, 1991 <br />( #16)WOODHILL COUNTRY CLUB CONTINUED <br />Bernhardson reiterated that the $51.00 /quarter would apply <br />for the first year, and would then be adjusted in accordance with <br />the metered usage recorded. <br />Jabbour said, "In .-iiy opinion, the City is coming away from <br />this with minimal liability, while putting on reserve for future <br />equipment failure or upgrades, and the Club is becoming <br />ecologically more responsible." <br />Butler noted that she wants to know that Woodhill Country <br />Club is in fact within the M.U.S.A, line. <br />Callahan stated that he agreed with Councilmember Jabbour. <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Butler, to direct <br />Staff to undertake the drafting of an agreement with the Woodhill <br />Country Club .o take in -o account the construction of a sewer <br />line in accordance with City specifications with the City only <br />charging a maintenance charge, subject to potential upgrade of <br />the lift s::ation, of which the Club's responsibility would be <br />defined. Additionally, the agreement would specify that the City <br />has the right to take over the line at a time in the future that <br />a Council majority would so decide. Until then, it is to be <br />privately maintained and the Club cannot allow any other property <br />to connect to the line without Council approval. Jabbour <br />suggested that Staff be directed to monitor the flowage to assure <br />that Woodhill is charged appropriately for their usage. Motion, <br />Ayes -5, Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />( #17)FACILITIES <br />Bernhardson stated that at least three Planning Commission <br />members will be unable to attend the Work Session scheduled for <br />March 27th. <br />Mayor Peterson asked that the Planning Commission include <br />the selection or a date for the Highw, -Ay 12 Workshop as part of <br />their March 13 meeting agenda. <br />Mabusth stated that this item would be included on the <br />Planning Commission's meeting agenda. <br />3ernhardson asked Council to consider whether the draft <br />letter shou-.d be mailed to the Facility Committee members <br />inviting them to the Work Session. He also asked Council for <br />their input regarding the agenda presented for their <br />consideration, and whether or not.a questionnaire should be sent <br />to the Crystal Bay neighborhood. Bernhardson further noted that <br />John Gerhardson had included information outlining possibilities <br />for a temporary Public Works Facility. <br />- 23 - <br />
