MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD MARCH 9, 1992 <br />( #17A) HIRING OF A POLICE OFFICER <br />Mayor Peterson reiterated that this position has been authorized <br />for hiring already. <br />Moorse noted they have completed the interviewing process, and it <br />is recommended that Council authorize hiring of Mr. McNichols. <br />It was moved by Mayor Peterson, seconded by Jabbour, to authorize <br />the hiring of David McNichols as a full -time police officer as of <br />March 16, 1992 at an hourly rate of $13.85. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Callahan suggested Council adjourn to Executive Session to discuss <br />possible litigation. <br />( * #18) LICENSES <br />There were no licenses. <br />( * #19) BILLS <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Goetten, to approve payment <br />of the All Funds Account.
