The plans are
dated 2-7-12. We have the following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The plan is acceptable from an engineering standpoint.
• The site is relatively flat, but the drainage patterns shown by arrows on the plan are achievable. We
recommend that the city verify the proposed drainage patterns are constructed prior to final site
restoration.
• The as-built plan should clearly show that the proposed drainage patterns were constructed.
• This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control information
meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be submitted. The minimum $2000
sediment and erosion control financial security should be required of the owner for this permit.
If you have any questions, please call me at(651)604-4894 or send an email to
darren.amundsenestantec.com.
Sincerely,
Stantec
\
Darren Amundsen
cc: Chris Mattson
