MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING HELD ON JUNE 12,1995 <br />( * #14) TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AT GOLF COURSE <br />• <br />Goetten moved, Kelley seconded, to approve the employment of Debra Renard as a <br />temporary replacement counter helper at the Orono Golf Course at an hourly rate of <br />$5.70, effective May 25, 1995. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />( #15) REQUEST FOR OFF -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />Callahan suggested tabling this request until the June 26, 1995, meeting of the Council. <br />Goetten moved, Jabbour seconded, to table the request for off-sale liquor license. Ayes <br />5, Nays 0. <br />( * #lb) BID AWARD - CRYSTAL BAY PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT <br />Goetten moved, Kelley seconded, to approve the purchase and installation of the <br />playground equipment, fall absorption material, and the burying of the utility lines for the <br />following costs: <br />Playground equipment and tuff timber borders - <br />Earl F. Anderson Co. $14,227 <br />Fall absorption material (City forces) 2,500 <br />• Burying of utility lines - All Star Electric 2.195 <br />TOTAL $18,922 <br />• <br />The monies to pay for the above improvements to be funded from the Park Dedication <br />fund. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />( #17) EMPLOYMENT MATTER <br />No formal action was taken regarding this matter. The Council authorized the Mayor to <br />work on this matter. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />City Attorney Barrett had no report at this time. <br />( * #ls) LICENSES <br />Goetten moved, Kelley seconded, to approve the following licenses: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />23 <br />
