The City would like to remind you that lakes and wetlands are <br /> not an allowed dumping site for such materials. <br /> City Code Section 78-1608 1(c) states: <br /> Activities including, but not limited to, building (other than a boardwalk or dock), paving <br /> mowing, vegetation removal, filling, dumping, yard waste disposal or fertilizer application <br /> are prohibited... <br /> This letter will serve as your notice that the property must be brought into compliance <br /> before Tuesday, November 23, 2010. In order to bring your property into compliance the <br /> leaves must be removed from the wetland by November 23, 2010. Please be advised, if you fail <br /> to correct the violation and continue dumping in the wetland this matter will be sent to the City <br /> Attorney for review and may result in criminal prosecution. <br /> The City offers grass and leaf disposal in the Spring and Fall of each year. Unfortunately, the <br /> City site is now closed, but I have attached information from Hennepin County's website of sites <br /> that are still accepting such items.
