S-P TESTING, INC. Steven B. Schirmers • MPCA Cert.No. 627
951 Katydid Lane NE • St. Michael, MN 55376 - (612) 497-3566
FAX (612) 497-5011
State License#394
May 8, 1998
Tony Eiden Company
Lot 3, block 1
Old Crystal Bay Rd., 2nd Add.
Orono, Henn. Co., MN
A Site evaluation was completed on this site for the proposed on-site sewage treatment
system designed on 5-13-94.
The site proposed has been disturbed with construction equipment compacting the soil.
Percolation tests were completed indicating the soils have been compacted. This site
will need the soil turned over 18" deep in the area of the compaction and left for the
future expansion site. This site will no longer be classified as Standard and will need
approval from the city official.
The future site on the design dated 5-13-94 will need to be the proposed site for the
mound system.
This on-site sewage treatment system is designed for a Type 1, five bedroom home, in
accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7080 and local
ordinances.
The soils at a depth of 12" (#2, 3 &4) have a percolation rate averaging 21.1 mpi.
A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent to the treatment area.
The power supply and switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping
chamber in a weather proof enclosure. A warning device must be installed with a light
and sound device, this is in case of a pump failure.
1
