Christine Mattson
From: Robert Bean [bobbe@bolton-menk.com]
Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2014 1:45 PM
To: Christine Mattson
Cc: Andrew Mack; Melanie Curtis; David P. Martini; Brian Simmons; 'David Poggi'; 'Bob Wallace'
Subject: 2014-01064 - 1560 Tanglewood Road
Attachments: 140926_HydroCAD Report.pdf; 140926_SHEET3_GRADING.pdf
Christine,
I have completed review of the revised plans and hydraulic calculations for 1560 Tanglewood Road. The applicant
submitted them directly to me, so I am forwarding the submitted information to you for your use. The applicant has
adequately addressed my comments dated 9/25/14. The escrow and copy of the MCWD permit should still be
submitted and the perimeter erosion control devices should still be inspected prior to any other work. If you have any
questions or comments, please contact me to discuss.
Thanks,
Robert E. The existing contours through the ditch have been revised to meld the survey with
the LiDAR (the lidar was the only thing shown previously, but the survey was used for the design). I blended the two for
clarity. As indicated, the grading/pipe is suitable as designed.
The Hydrocad model has been adjusted, leading to reduced HWLs as expected. See attached. The 100-year HWL does
not encroach on the neighboring property.
I also moved the silt fence around the alternate drain field, as requested, and added a note to put silt fence along the ditch
to ensure they do not encroach.
I believe this meets the requirements of your letter?
Thanks,
David Poggi, PE, LEED AP BD+C
Civil Methods, Inc.
1551 Livingston Avenue,Ste. 104
1
