:*-Sambatek <br /> Engineering I Surveying I Planning I Environmental <br /> July 7, 2016 <br /> Eric Larson <br /> 983 Nine Mile Cove East <br /> Hopkins, MN 55343 <br /> SUBJECT: Wetland Delineation Report <br /> 690 N Brown Road <br /> Orono, MN 55356 <br /> Dear Mr. Larson, <br /> Sambatek has prepared this wetland delineation report for the subject property located at 690 N Brown Road, <br /> City of Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota.Also included in this report is wetland permitting documentation to <br /> assist you in complying with the Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act(WCA)and Section 404 of the Clean Water <br /> Act. <br /> The subject property is comprised of one lot and is approximately 23 acres consisting of a residence, unimproved <br /> woodland,wetlands,and grass fields.The subject property exhibits a rolling topography and is bordered by N <br /> Brown Road to the west, Long Lake to the east,and residential developments to the north and south. <br /> WETLAND DELINEATION METHODOLOGY <br /> Sambatek reviewed the available background wetland information of this site as a part of the wetland <br /> delineation activities,which included: <br /> ➢ Hennepin County Soil Survey; <br /> ➢ National Wetlands Inventory Map (East Central Update); <br /> ➢ DNR Public Waters Map; <br /> ➢ Topographic Map;and, <br /> ➢ Precipitation Data. <br /> Hennepin County Soil Survey <br /> The Hennepin County Soil Surveywas utilized to identify areas of mapped hydric soils within the property <br /> boundaries.Hydric soil is an indicator of potential wetland conditions.The soil survey identifies twelve soil types <br /> within the Project Site.These soil types are summarized below in Table 1. <br /> 12800 Whitewater Drive.
