The fill material changed considerably over <br /> the course of the project, so three proctor tests were nece.ssary. Test <br /> results are enclosed. Ncte that, initially, density tests failed. After <br /> re—excavation and recompacting, adjusting compaction methods as necessary, <br /> a11 tests met minimum Building Code standards (equal to or greater than <br /> 95% of Standard Maximum Density). <br /> Therefore, it is likel_y that adeGuate site preparation has been performed, <br /> that base soils are suitable to support the work, and that fill, at least <br /> to a level equal to the bottoms of garage footings, has been adequately <br /> compacted. I recommend cor.struction using standard footings. <br /> The limitations of this investigation are essentiaZly as per notations on <br /> the density test sheet.
