NE, Hanover,MN 55341
(763) 498-8779 Fax (763) 498-8290
June 29,2006
Hickory Fine Homes
300 Stubbs Bay Road
Orona Hennepin County
This on-site Sewage'Treatment System is designed for a 1'ype 1,Five-bedroom home in accordance with the Minnesota
Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7080 and local ordinances.
The seasonally saturated soils were locafed at 16"-30"(mottled soil). Due to seasonally saturated soils,a pressurized
Mound System will need to be installed to treat septic efluent. The bottom of the treatment azea must be locatcd at
least 3'above the saturated soils.Due to limited space that is on 12%slope or less and one foot to the mottled soil."I he
mound rockbcd must be split into two rock beds. The proposed rockbed are to be 32 Feet in length.
This svstem is desiEned with duel rockbed using unlevel pressure distribution.See design sheets.Use 7/32 inch
erforations on the laterals.
1'hc absorption area of the proposed system does not overlap and is greater than 10 feet from the propem fine.
'Ihe sils at a depth of 12"have a percolation rate averaging 3 MPI.
Alf rieighboring wells are located greater than 100'away from proposed treatment area.
A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent to the treatment area. T'he power spply ar.d switches
must be located ou[side the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof encloswe. A waming device must be
installed with light and sound devices;this is in case of a pump failure.
The manifold and supply line must have back drainage to the pumping chamber. The distribution pipes shall have their
ends capped. Be sure the rock and sand fill materials are clean. The sod layer below the entire mounded area must be
tumed over, just break up the sod and be sure not to over work.
Keep all heavy equipment off of the proposed treatment areas before, during and after construction. The area
around both sites must be fenced off by the contractor before any construction begins. This Design is not valid
and the System will need to be relocated if failure to protect the areas proposed for On-Site Sewage Treatment
accurs.
With proper installation and maintenance, this system should have no problem in treating septic eftluent efiectively.
Nothing other thagray water,(laundry, showers, etc.) Human water and toilet tissue should be disposed of into the
septic tanks. Garbage disposals are not recommended. Additives must not be used;they may cause harmful damage to
your septic system It is recommended that you pump the tank every year for 1 tank every two years for tHo tanks.
Sinc;c;rely, , . i/[' dN}
' __.....____..
. -------" A'►
;
,
; i t► 7'$ - " o RMIT1.
Joseph J.Olson 'T
, awswrrg coxecor,
`/ ` tarravooRactwr
 4hes oo.aeiar.tar y.i.WM+.inJlttairlR
 1 ►u a+...r.r+.a....an,.
A► +►xrari►'a«'«+r
