hydric soils, and hydrology. Data sheets for the recorded transect are located in the
` Appendix.
Results
The field investigation identified one wetland basin. The approximate wetland boundary
is illustrated on Figure 5. The location of the wetland boundary will have to be located
by a surveyor before the execution of activities which could affect the basin. It is
recommended that the boundary be located prior to site design in order to avoid future
conflict and project issues.
The following is a summary of the wetland delineation.
Wetland #1, the only jurisdictional wetland on this parcel, is located on the southern half
of the parcel boundary. The site topography is higher on the northern portion and
significantly lower on the southern side. While Reed Canarygrass was observed well
outside (upslope) from our boundary, we based our wetland boundary on a distinct
f topographical break, which was observed throughout the entire wetland boundary from
east to west. Below are photographs of our sample transect (facing south, facing south,
respectively) .
.:
:.
..,
One stormwater pond exists on the very northern edge of the parcel boundary. According
to aerial photography, it was created sometime between 2003 and 2006. SER ecologists
did not delineate this are because it is manmade and therefore does not meet jurisdictional
criteria.
Unregulated activities that impact or potentially impact wetlands are currently regulated
at several levels of government. No grading or filling in wetland basins should
- commence until all necessary permits have been obtained. This wetland delineation
