A summary of the inspection <br /> is below. <br /> Septic Tank Condition <br /> 1. Pumpout not needed at this time. <br /> The sepric system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance between the bottom <br /> of the drainfield to the seasonally high���atertable. The three I�oot requirement is a State Code,not a City <br /> Code. A soil boring was conducted to determine the depth oC the seasonally watertable. The septic <br /> system must be replaced by December 31, 2007. <br /> Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors �vho ��or� in Orono on a regular basis. Also <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet erplaining how a septic sti�stem functions properl��.
