What happened was that his top of well <br /> cap benchmark was off by 11 inches, based on that the elevation of the house dropped by 11 inches and in the grand <br /> scheme of things it did not matter, the site handles the grade change without any repercussions, in fact it helped things <br /> regarding the pool terrace and the retaining walls off of the terrace, walls became 11 inches shorter which the Owner was <br /> more pleased with aesthetically and even more pleased to know that the walls are now less expensive. Probably more <br /> than you wanted to know but there you have it, an error that had a happy ending, those do not happen often in our <br /> industry.
