We have the following comments with regards to engineering <br /> matters: <br /> • It appears that the proposed retaining wall in the back of the house is approximately 5 <br /> feet high in areas. Engineered design and details should be submitted for review and <br /> approval for all retaining walls over four in height, and for all tiered walls with a <br /> separation of less than two times the wall height. <br /> • The plans should show a proposed driveway culvert at Spring Hill Road to maintain the <br /> existing ditch drainage. <br /> • The plans should note any driveway removal and restoration work located within the <br /> existing easement at 445 Spring Hill Road. <br /> • The plans must show existing contours at least 50 feet on to the surrounding properties. <br /> • This project will disturb more than one acre and require a MPCA NPDES permit. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control <br /> information meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be <br /> submitted.
